About
GrokBotPicks is an independent field guide to Grok Bot templates. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by Grok, xAI, or X.
Dylan publishes the guide. The pages are a static catalog: one JSON file per template, reviewed in git. There is no account, database, or admin site.
What “seed” means
The templates in this catalog are example seeds. A person wrote the prompt and the sample output, and nobody has run them in Grok Bot. The detail page says so. The directory does not put a status badge on the card.
How a template becomes tested
Tested means someone ran it on a named date and Grok Bot version, and the output on the page is from that run. Reviewed means a person read the prompt, the access it describes, and the risks, and did not run it. Untested drafts are not published.
Install links
An “Install in Grok Bot” button appears only when the entry has a share id taken from a published Grok Bot template, plus the date that id was verified. The link is grokbot://app/v1/bot-template?id= and the id is the only parameter. This catalog does not invent ids. Names such as Gmail or GitHub on a card are words in the example, not a claim that a connector is supported.
Submit one
Add a JSON file under src/content/templates and open a pull request. Include what the prompt assumes, what could go wrong, and a share id only if you verified it against a published template. Leave the share id out otherwise.
